Jansel Court Is Hiring
Jansel Court Condominium (also known as Downtown's Living Charm) is seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing a clean, secure, and welcoming residential community while offering a professional and supportive work environment.
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, with overtime hours as needed.
We are currently hiring for three positions: Property Maintenance, Housekeeping / Cleaner, and Administrative.
Property Maintenance: You will maintain the operations of the property, inspect buildings, equipment, and common areas regularly, respond to and resolve maintenance issues promptly, assist with efficient use of maintenance materials and supplies, ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations, and maintain accurate records and reports. To qualify, you will need proven experience in property or facility maintenance (5 years preferred), knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or general repairs, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies, basic computer skills for reporting and documentation, a technical certification or trade background, and knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements.
Housekeeping / Cleaner: You will keep common areas and shared facilities clean and safe, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas, complete cleaning tasks according to daily schedules, restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed, clean glass surfaces, doors, windows, and mirrors, report maintenance issues, hazards, or damaged property promptly, and follow health and safety procedures for an incident-free environment. To qualify, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (preferred), experience in residential, condominium, hotel, or commercial facilities (an asset), ability to operate cleaning equipment safely, strong attention to detail, good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
Administrative: You will greet and assist visitors and residents in a professional manner, respond to calls and inquiries within established timelines, maintain accurate records and documentation, ensure reports and correspondence are completed on schedule, assist with scheduling, reports, and basic office tasks, and achieve high resident satisfaction standards. To qualify, you will need a high school diploma or Associate's degree (preferred), previous experience in reception or office administration, good communication and customer service skills, basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.), and organizational and detail-oriented abilities.
